Minster Local Schools
These are report cards we have developed at Minster Elementary School. These are the start of our Standards-Based reporting. We in no way think we are experts, but we have started the process of informing our parents. We think it is important for the parents to know that we are accountable to the standards.
The grading program we use to allow us to develop this report card is ProgressBook. That particular grading program has the capability of allowing teachers to write lesson plans and attach indicators to each lesson. Reports can then be printed to show the various indicators being hit too hard and the ones not being hit enough. We are working with the software company to develop a more elementary teacher user-friendly lesson plan format. That will be a nice addition.
